There are four rooms. The larger rooms, No.1, 2 and 3, are each $44 per three hour session and the smaller room No.4 is $40 per three hour session.
Additional hours are $13. per hour
If for some reason a booking needs to be cancelled, 48 hours notice is required or a $40 late fee will apply.
Also available:
Guitar strings, drumsticks and soft drinks.
PA and lights hire from $85.

My current band LORD was born from the ashes of Dungeon who did three international tours with the likes of Megadeath, Nightwish, Opeth and many more, and has since gone on as LORD to tour with a great number bands such as Queensryche, Saxon and Gamma Ray as well as our own headlining tours, with a string of internationally released albums during that time. 2009 looks like the busiest year yet for the band and the only way to be at the top of our game is to make sure we're a well rehearsed unit.

LORD chooses KICKSTART as our rehearsal space. It has clean rooms with loud and clear PAs, reasonable rates and the owner, Arnie, is friendly, helpful, and will go out of his way to make sure you are comfortable and your needs are catered for. A pleasant rehearsal space makes for a much more efficient rehearsal, which is why I have no hesitation to recommend KICKSTART Rehearsal Studios to anyone looking for a great rehearsal space in the Illawarra and beyond.

There are so many reasons why I've been rehearsing at KICKSTART Rehearsal Studios in Wollongong for more than 10 years now in my "illustrious music career".


there is plenty of level on-site parking and it's 'as easy as playing bass' to get your gear unloaded/loaded.

the rooms are always ready, clean & well equipped, making it easy to get into the vibe for creating music and rehearsing your art.

the rooms have always been very reasonably priced and extras like soft drinks haven't gone up in 10 years.

the owner Arnie operates this well organised studio with an informal attitude; managing to have time and patience for each person who rehearses there.

Arnie is a legend, a real dude, so respect the great man and you'll dig rehearsing at KICKSTAR Studios "old son".
