About Arnie
Arnie, who runs the studio has a wealth of experience dating back to the 60's, when he formed the Coffin Cheaters whose claim to fame was a schizophrenic version of Wild Thing and a reputation for provocative performances.
Next, came the 70's glamour outfit Tree, whose winning performance at the Battle of the Bands catapulted them to headline shows with acts such as ACDC, Johnny O'Keefe and Band of Light. On the strength of their peformances, the band was booked for an international tour, but as sometimes happens, management collapsed and so did the tour.
Then off to exile in London, where he spent several years working with members of the Nashville Teens, Masters Apprentices and Billy Ocean's backing band.
During the early 80's, it was Hard Grind who enjoyed national exposure with their top ten hit, 'Mile Away'. In '88, a collaboration with Leon Berger resulted in Arnie winning two international songwriting awards including Best Bicentennial Song. |
